Our History
Fumeiro da Vila appears in June 2019 with the aim of continuing the legacy of Salsicharia Ervedalense. As a family business, we want to preserve and continue the knowledge of more than 40 years of history, a legacy that could not be lost. The family passed on the necessary recipes and teachings, and this allowed us to continue to be a reference in the production of regional Alentejo charcuterie. The market is no longer the same as it has been for 40 years and this fact has challenged us to define new strategies and work for new markets. We grow with the demands of the market, remaining true to our origins and values.
We are located in the heart of Alto Alentejo, in Ervedal, municipality of Avis, in a region rich in traditions, knowledge and natural resources. We are 60km from Portalegre, 63km from Évora, 140km from Beja and 170km from Lisbon.
Our customers range from small businesses to large distributors, with a strong presence in the digital market, either through partners or through their own online store.
